Zimbabwe: Cholera [update 2]

As of 24 Nov 2008, 8887 cases of Cholera had been reported in Zimbabwe with 366 deaths. Most of the deaths were reported in Beitbridge.

Gambia: Malaria

At least 18 cases of imported malignant Malaria from Gambia were identified in Denmark and Finland.

In India, a suspected outbreak of Avian Influenza which killed more than 300 poultry was reported in Assam.

In Pakistan, 1 150 cases of Dengue Fever were reported in Punjab. The city of Lahore was seriously affected.

In United Kingdom, a suspected outbreak of Measles affecting 27 people was reported in South Warwickshire.

Iraq: Cholera [update 7]

Recent report of Ministry of Health indicated 889 confirmed Cholera cases including 11 deaths were registered in Iraq as of 21 November 2008.
