Indonesia: Hong Kong travelers contracted Dengue Fever
The Department of Health confirmed two imported cases of Dengue Fever today, bringing to 26 cases so far this year. They complained of fever, cough, sore throat and muscle pain. Both of them traveled to Indonesia before onset of symptoms.

As of 13 November, there were a total of 28 suspected Yellow Fever cases and 14 deaths in Kayes region of Mali.

Romania: Avian influenza, bird [update 2]
Hundreds of birds have found dead in Partizani, Caraorman and Crisan in Romania. Laboratory analysis confirmed the presence of the Avian Influenza virus for chickens dead in Caraorman.

Mainland: Avian Influenza, bird [update 5]
Mainland had reported a new wave of H5N1 strain of Avian Influenza outbreak among poultry in Huainan of Anhui, Hetian of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Urumqi of Xinjiang, and Xiaoyi of Shanxi. 130 000 and 322 500 domesticated fowls in Anhui and Xinjiang have been culled by the Ministry of Agriculture.
On 20 November, there were 2 more confirmed outbreaks of H5N1 Avian Influenza among domesticated fowl involving Inner Mongolia Molidawa Autonomous Region and Shishou of Hubei, 3 202 and 3 800 domesticated fowls located within 3 km of the affected regions were culled respectively.

Indonesia: Avian Influenza, human [updated 8]
Indonesia has confirmed two more cases of human infection with the H5N1 Avian Influenza virus. Both cases were fatal and from Jakarta. The newly confirmed cases bring the total in Indonesia to 11. Of these, 7 of them were fatal.

Thailand: Avian Influenza, human [update 4]
The Ministry of Public Health in Thailand has confirmed a further case of human infection with H5N1 Avian Influenza. The patient is an 18-months-old boy from a suburb of Bangkok. He developed symptoms on 1 November and in good condition. This is the fourth laboratory-confirmed case in Thailand this year.

China: Avian Influenza, human [update]
The Ministry of Health of Mainland confirmed two human cases of H5N1 Avian Influenza infection. The first case was a 9-years-old boy from Hunan province who experienced symptoms on 17 October and had been discharged with full recovery. The second case was a 24-years-old woman who worked as a poultry farmer in Anhui province. She developed symptoms on 1 November and died on 10 November.
